ALPINE SAFETY NET

  • It is necessary that Alpine Safety Net are installed by trained person. Alpine offers on-site product training toensure safe and correct use of products.
  • All Alpine Safety Net components must be inspected by a competent person prior to re-use. A record inspection of the annual testing of Safety Nets must be kept by the customer. Following the fall of an object or person in the Safety Net, the unit must be inspected by a competent person prior to re-use.
  • Personnel involved in the assembly and installation of the safety net must be trained on working at height and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
  • This product has been developed a result of a  comprehensive study of the problems associated with the falling of objects and workers as well as risks of falling objects for the workers or members on public below, during the construction towers.
  • The Alpine safety nethandle these risks on sites by absorbing the energy of the fall and containing the falling object or worker within the net.
  • Alpine Safety Net has an unique ability to adapt to various building shapes and facade, as well as standing agan-ist high wind loading, especially in high-risestructures.
  • The positioning limits stated in EN 1263-2 for Safety Nets are intended for the purpose of arresting the fall of a objectfrom height.
  • In accordance with EN1263-2 Safety nets: Part 2: Safety requirements for the positioning limits, Alpine Safety Nets designed to arrest the fall of a person should be positioned as follows:For surfaces sloping less than 20°, the maximum falling height must not exceed 6 m. For surfaces sloping more than 20°, the maximum falling height must not exceed 3 m.
  • It is however recommended to install the Alpine Safety Net as close to the risk area as possible to minimise the falling height and the subsequent injury to falling person.
  • Distance (f) below the Alpine Safety Net unit should not be less the overall height of the safety net unit.

OVERLAP

To ensure total coverage of gaps between Alpine Safety Net units, the units must overlapped. Using the custom-ary method of overlap, the lower units must be installed prior to upper units as  indicated in the sketch below. This method of overlap allows for easy access whenfolding units for  craneage. The extent of overlap between Alpine Safety Net units  determines the effective length of unit on plan. o main-tain the minimum overlap of 0.75m between Alpine Safety Net units as required by EN-1263, it is  recommended to overlap the units at 1.0m as the nets are narrower in the middle.

SAFETY NET ASSEMBLY STEPS

Step 1
Safety net mounting base plate is anhored to floor by anchore scre. Anchore points must be fixed 20 cm distancefrom the column surface.
Step 2
After fixing connection points on the flo, system are moved by Crane to up floors.
Step 3
System is interlocked to anchored safety net mounting base plate by means of its circular tube part, pin and pin cotter.

Light Weight can be mounted easily to various attachments, Made of 40x40x2,5 mm TSE certified box profile, this product icompleted with welded base plate. It is fixed to the floor with M10x90mm concrete screws from Ø12 holes in the base plateThanks to its galvanized coating, professional cutting and welding details, it can be used for long time in various projects. The protective mesh post has two drop lock. Protective mesh post protected from top with plastic cap.

Anchorage Screw M10x90mm

Edge protection anchore screw that secures the edge protec-tion Post to the floor is in dimensions M10x90 mm. It can bedismantled and re-used while offering fast installation conv-nience.

Alpine Temporary edge protection Mesh Panel is made of Ø6 wire offers high strength thanks to its 2 bends.22,5 cm high Built-in toe board, available in two sizes, 2.6m x 1.1m and 1.3mx 1.1m. Make it easier to cover all slab edges possibili-ties, Individual Protective Mesh can easily be taken out and slotted back into place for short-term jobs such as handling materials and equipment. The Protective mesh to be hanged into place in all 4-handrail post drop lock.
